They are expected to learn from their mentor and eventually become full-fledged Jedi Knights themselves. **

A female Padawan is a young Jedi apprentice who is training to become a full-fledged Jedi Knight. Padawans are typically taken on by a Jedi Master who guides them in the ways of the Force and teaches them the skills necessary to become a Jedi. Female Padawans have the same responsibilities and opportunities as their male counterparts, and they are expected to uphold the Jedi Code and principles of the Jedi Order. **

Anakin Skywalker does have a Padawan named Ahsoka Tano. Ahsoka is introduced in the animated film and series "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" as Anakin's apprentice. The plural of Padawan is "Padawans." In the Star Wars universe, a Padawan is a young Jedi in training, and when referring to multiple young Jedi in training, the plural form is used. So, if there are multiple Padawans, they would be referred to as Padawans. **

Rey's backstory as a former Padawan of Luke could add depth to her character and provide a compelling connection to the original trilogy. It would also explain her strong connection to the Force and her natural ability with a lightsaber. However, it's also important for Rey to have her own unique journey and identity separate from the Skywalker lineage. Ultimately, the decision should be based on what serves the story and character development best in the context of the overall Star Wars narrative. **
